Writing Dangerously is the working title of a forthcoming book.

An anthology of writings that cross & bridge genres: hybrid, poetry, flash fiction, memoir, theatre, essay, fairy tale, children’s book...

The writings emerge from weekly writing workshops created by and for elder, immigrant, Black, disabled, transgender, queer, Indigenous, two spirit and emerging artists.

The artists [who lead/participate in the workshops] first crossed paths in different public libraries, community groups & writing workshops across New York City & Philadelphia between 2010-2020.

We continue meeting weekly to support each other & our writing practices. In our spaces, writing is about ritual & community as much as it is about art.

We write no matter what.
